Non dimentico di innalzare ferventi suppliche a Dio [...] dove, da molto tempo, molti figli e figlie patiscono l’estorsione, il sequestro e la violenta scomparsa dei loro amati. Chiedo al Signore che questa sofferenza umana smetta e si intraprendano cammini di riconciliazione, rispetto reciproco e concordia sincera. Restaurando così la fraternità e la solidarietà, che sono basi solide per raggiungere il giusto progresso e costruire una pace stabile Sua Santità Benedetto XVI
